Rose Lawn is a refined two-bedroom bespoke bungalow located in WD23, thoughtfully designed and delivered by U&U Construction Ltd. Conceived as a complete redevelopment of the site, the project replaces the former structure with a striking contemporary home defined by clean architectural lines, high-specification finishes and an exceptional standard of craftsmanship throughout.

The Vision

The brief was to create a contemporary, low-maintenance bungalow that would offer open, flowing spaces while retaining warmth and character. Natural light, intelligent storage solutions and a seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces were central to the vision.

The home was designed to feel spacious without excess, refined without ostentation. Clean detailing, quality materials and timeless finishes were prioritised to ensure longevity both aesthetically and structurally.

Design & Craftsmanship

From the outset, the project was approached with meticulous attention to detail. The layout centres around a beautifully proportioned open-plan kitchen and living area, creating a natural focal point within the home. Generous glazing allows daylight to flood the interior, enhancing the sense of openness and connection to the garden beyond.

A defining architectural feature of the property is the bespoke solid oak staircase, complemented by frameless glass balustrading and precise joinery detailing. The staircase introduces warmth and sculptural elegance, acting as both a functional element and a visual statement within the main living space.

Underfoot, premium herringbone flooring runs throughout the principal areas, adding texture, rhythm and a subtle sense of luxury. The natural tones of the timber flooring harmonise with the staircase, creating cohesion and elevating the overall interior aesthetic.

Both bedrooms are finished with integrated fitted wardrobes, designed to maximise storage while maintaining clean, uninterrupted lines. The bathroom is completed with contemporary fittings and high-quality materials, reflecting the same attention to detail seen throughout the home.

Externally, the property presents a crisp and modern façade, blending brick and render to achieve a timeless yet contemporary appearance.
